Peter Bickerman returned to Lipman and Katz in 2013; Peter worked for the firm from 1987 to 1995. His long and varied legal career has included service as an assistant attorney general and special assistant in the Office of Counsel to the Governor, solo practice and work as an administrative hearing officer.
For more than seven consecutive years, Peter has been listed in the publication The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of administrative/regulatory law and appellate law. Inclusion in that publication is based on confidential evaluations by other lawyers. Peter has briefed and argued more than 60 cases in the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and several cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, on matters ranging from criminal law to family law, tort law to employment law.
