Lipman & Katz Attorney Christopher Wright

Attorney Christopher Wright joined the Augusta-based law firm Lipman & Katz in 2013, following several years as a derivatives trader in New York City. In New York, he was an active member of several financial exchanges including the American Stock Exchange, the New York Board of Trade and the New York Mercantile Exchange. His training and work as a trader required an analytical approach to problem solving, valuing assets and making quick decisions in an extremely competitive and fast-paced environment.

Chris draws on his financial background and legal education to assist Lipman & Katz’s senior partners with complex probate concerns, litigation matters and business transactions. A proud Mainer, Chris is excited to return to his home state and help Lipman & Katz’s clients meet their unique legal and business challenges.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College in 2001 and Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law in 2010. Chris is currently vice president of the Kennebec County Bar Association. He currently lives in the Augusta area with his wife, Sonja, and their two children.
